Job Description:
YMCA of San Angelo is looking for Referees/Officials to join our team in San Angelo, TX.
We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, reliable, and love sports and have a passion for helping youth grow in sports.
Individuals who are willing to work hard, have a positive attitude and understand the importance of fair play amongst youth.
Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-game and post-game meetings/inspections in a timely manner.
Maintain the integrity of the field and ensure that the rules of the game are followed.
Ensure that the safety of our players is paramount.
Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined by the YMCA of San Angelo.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or director.
Required Skills:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks being completed at once.
Knowledge of sports including tackle football, volleyball, and basketball.
Ability to handle tense situations while being respectful and firm.
Some training can be provided.
Must be able to work in extreme heat or cold conditions throughout the day.
