The job duties consist of:
transporting lab specimens, pharmaceuticals, medical records, x-rays, mail, and supplies between hospitals, clinics, and office buildings.
Must be detail oriented and available to work varied shifts.
Be able to follow instructions.
Be able to handle heavy call volume diplomatically handle customers and other drivers.
Performance:
Position Specific Essential Functions Ability to drive safely, yet deliver medications in an efficient manner to physician offices and other Clinics within Shannon Health System.
Driver must be able to chart efficient route to deliver medications to patient's home.
Coordinating deliveries, collecting payments and delivering messages from Pharmacy to patients and Clinic personnel require good communication skills.
Driver must ensure that trust is established with our customers, both internal and external to Shannon Health System.
