Either employment or independent contractor.
Must have a minimum of 2 years handyman experience or hotel maintenance position.
This position reports to the Assistant General Manager.
This position plays a key role in the general maintenance and condition of the hotel facilities which includes 74 guestrooms, a restaurant, and 2 conference centers.
Job Requirements:
Flexibility with schedule with ability to work weekends and both morning and afternoon shifts as needed.
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems Good written and verbal communication skills Customer Service Oriented Team Player Expected to do the schedules for the Maintenance Department.
Ability to multitask and complete projects as assigned on a timely basis.
Job Duties:
Maintenance tasks which include electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, cleaning, landscaping, and other miscellaneous tasks, normally associated with hotel operations.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance to guestrooms and public spaces.
Respond to service requests for guestrooms.
Handle projects as assigned by management.
